Our History
Before starting Hughes Electrical, Jim Hughes graduated from New England Institute of Technology in 1987 and then spent 14 years at one of RI's leading electrical services companies. It was there that Jim built up his electrical knowledge, learned the importance of working clean and satisfying the needs of the customer. After earning his Journeyman's license and Master's license, Jim decided it was time to start his own electrical services company in Rhode Island.
Founded in 1999, Hughes Electrical Services, Inc. was built on the idea of creating strong customer relationships through hard work and customer service. Our staff of 5 is comprised of skilled journeymen and master electricians who are focused on completing jobs thoroughly, accurately, on-time and on-budget. Plus, we understand urgency and act quickly to provide quality electrical service to all of our customers.
